5/165 Pitch Place House 14.6.67 II
House. 1683. Red brick on brick and rubblestone plinth with plain tiled roofs. H shaped plan with extensions at right angles to rear. 2 storeys with attics in gables. Square offset stack to right of centre, end stack to left. Symmetrical 5 bay front, end bays projecting under Dutch gables. Plat band over ground and first floor, brick on edge coping to gable and brick scroll to gable eaves. One camber head sash window in each gable under projecting cut brick diamond motif. 6 glazing bar sash windows, modern replacements, across first floor with seven windows below, all with tile on edge decoration rising up to form keystones.
Right hand return front: stone, "Tudor" style arched door surround with floral decorations in spandrels to right. Moulded and chamfered jambs to studded door with strapwork hinges. Double gabled wing to rear with further single storey service wing extending at right angles to main front.
