2 Hall houses, now divided. C15 with C16 cross wing to left, C18 to right end. Timber framed with whitewashed brick infill; plain tiled roofs with ridge stack to right and to centre of gabled cross wing. 2 storeys. 3 framed bays to right with curved bracing; irregular fenestration of casement windows, the majority leaded. Planked door, part glazed, to left of centre (Middle cottage) half glazed door to left in angle of cross wing (No. 47) further doors to right.
Interior: framing visible, Queen-post construction exposed on gable in left.
