6/259 Tandridge Priory 7.2.83 II
House. C17 with C18 and early C19 extensions to ends. Timber framed core with rendered brick cladding and extensions, further brick extension to west end. Plain tiled roof to centre largely obscured by rendered parapets, lower hipped slate roof to right; 2 stacks to ends of centre block and extensions. 2 storeys with attic to centre under 3 flat roof dormers to the rear; plat band over ground floor to centre and left. 6 sash windows to first floor centre and left with the end window right dropping down into the plat band, further 4 glazing bar sash windows in lower wing to right some ground floor windows with cambered heads. Enclosed flat Doric porch to right of centre with crowning urns to ends and doubled ½ glazed panelled doors under transome light.
Rear: Angle bay window to ground floor right, pent roofed glazed conservatory to ground floor left, slab balustrade across first floor centre.
Interior: stone paved entrance hall to centre; dog leg staircase with turned balusters. Plain cornices on acanthus leaf brackets to ceiling of ground and first floor rooms. Some framing exposed in central range with deep brick fireplace.
