6/176 Dwelly Farm House 11/2/58 GV II*

House. Early C16 to rear, late C16/early C17 across front with C19 extensions to left.Timber framed on brick plinth with red and blue brick cladding below, diamond pattern tile hanging above. Plain tiled roofs,lower to rear with offset end stack to left under rendered beehive top. T shape plan. 2 storeys and attic to front under 2 hipped roof diamond pane leaded casement dormers. Regular fenestration, three 3-light leaded casments on both floors. Planked door to left of centre under hipped hood. Wing to rear with hipped roof and gablet. Left hand return front: 2 four-light diamond mullioned windows to first floor, one 4-light diamond mullion window to right hand return front. 3 bay arched corridor to left connecting house to single storey blue and red brick range projecting forward at right angles and fronting the street.Three 5-light leaded casements to sides. Planked door to left end.

Interior:- Much framing visible in main house with moulded centre beam to ground floor rooms, partition and wall framing and deep brick fireplace.
