Public house. C17 with late C19 front. Timber framed, square panel pattern
exposed to return fronts with colour washed brick infill; rendered cladding
on ground floor front with diamond pattern tiling above. Parallel range plain
tiled roofs, lower to rear. Rear ridge stack on front range to left, end
ridge stack to right. Two storeys, moulded band across ground floor, 3 windows
across first floor, outer windows 3-light casements in gables rising through the
eaves with decorative bargeboards and billeted tie beams. Central 2 light window
to first floor; ground floor fenestration irregular with two 3-light casement
windows in projecting surrounds to centre and right, breaking up under pent roofs
into tiling on first floor. Two half glazed doors to left end and left of
centre, further half glazed door to right of centre in gabled half glazed
porch with decorative bargeboards.
