Mill, now museum. Late C18. Brown brick below, timber-framed with weatherboard
cladding above. Parallel ranges, plain tiled mansard roofs with gable ends to
street. Two storeys and attics in gables. Projecting gabled hoist bay to left-hand range on first floor with one 9-light casement window. Two 6-light windows
on first floor, three windows on ground floor: Boarded door to first floor left.
C20 board door to right of centre. Pentice roof single-storey bay set back to
right with Mill Wheel in brick trough attached to front. Left-hand
return front: Remains of old larger Mill Wheel attached at basement level.
