GV II
House. C1860, probably designed by Charles Buxton in Foxwarren Style. Diaper patterned brick with plain tiled roof. Sawtooth eaves band and tall stacks, some with decorative terracotta flues. Asymmetrical Gothic villa with chalet cottage attached to north east. 2 storeys and attics. East front: 2 gables on different planes with brick sawtooth band over ground floor. Leaded casement windows, one 3-light in each gable, one 5-light ground floor window in angle bay to right. Gabled and bargeboarded porch to left corner with brick nogging below, glazed above to plank door. South front: large gable to left with pointed window to ground floor. Gable over with cusped bargeboards to attic on right. Chalet addition: breaking forward to right of east front with gabled bay containing window to right. Planked door in pentice roof porch on right hand return front.
