Pair of cottages, formerly one farmhouse. C16. Timber framed with render
and plaintiled roof. Two storeys and attic. Entrance front: 2 doors of 6
panels at right and left. That at right has sunken panels, that at left
with flush panels and showing the scar of an ogee-headed porch. To far
right is a 3-light C19 casement and to centre and at left are tripartite
sash windows. To the first floor are four C19 metal-framed casements. To
the ridge at right and left are stacks of 2 flues, that at right rebuilt in
C20 brick. The left hand gable end has blank walling to the ground and
first floors and a 3-light attic window. Right hand side: the gable end
has a 3-light metal-framed ground floor window and a 2-light and a single-
light attic window. Slightly recessed wing at with a stable door and
a 2-light window and a 2-light first floor window.

Interior: The ground floor room of the left hand cottage has a richly-
moulded beam and moulded joists which have angle beads.
