House, formerly farmhouse divided at one stage into 2 cottages. C16 or C17
with C18 addition. Timber framed with colourwashed render and a plain
tiled roof, originally thatched. Two storeys with attic. Four-cell plan,
one added in the C18. Entrance front: doorways at right and left of centre
between and at either side of which are 2-light C19 and C20 windows. To
the first floor are three 2-light C19 casements. The render shows the
remains of panels of pargetting with defaced initials W (P?). Right hand
gable end: 3-light C20 window to ground floor centre and at right of this
in the upper wall is a 5-light window with moulded mullions. To the first
floor is a 2-light C20 window. Jettied gable on brackets with a 4-light
casement, with renewed C20 bargeboards and bressumer. Left hand gable end:
blank walling to the ground floor. 2-light C20 first floor window and a 5-
light attic window with moulded mullions. Rear: a C20 outshut at left with
2 slit windows and at right of this 2 single-light and a 3-light window and
a 3-light C19 casement to the first floor.
