House, set sideways-on to road. Mid C16, with later extensions. 2 storeys: basic 2-cell lobby-entrance plan of which only part survives. Timber-framed and rendered; clay pantiles; a C19 replacement section in red brick with a lower roof-line on the east, and a mid-C20 rendered extension on the west. 2 internal chimney-stacks with rebuilt red brick shafts. 2-light casement windows, some old, with a single bar to lights, but most C20, plain. 3 bays of the original frame survive, including a chimney-bay; at the east side the framing appears incomplete, and the C19 brick section replaces the original parlour. A good frame, all timbers exposed. Full height scuds; reversed braces at the west end only; blocked original diamond-mullioned windows on the first floor. Chamfered main beam and joists, run-off stops to beam; long arched braces to tie-beams, some removed. plain queen-post roof.
