GV II
House. C16 with C18 and early C19 extensions set forward to left hand side.
Timber framed and plastered, mid C20 applied half-timbering to the 2 main
facades; pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. Various casement windows, some
with square leaded panes; mid C20 bow window to right hand side (a similar
shop window in this position is shown on a mid C19 print); C18 wing with mid
C20 boarded door. Gable end stack to main range, external stack to C18 wing.
Interior considerably modernised: some exposed timbering, especially to ground
floor; early C19 wing with good Adam style wooden fireplace.
