Former hall house, cased in brick and subdivided into 2 cottages late C19. C15
or early C16; dated 'Railway Terrace 1881' on facade. Timber framed, red brick
casing, pantiled roof. 2 storeys. 3 window range, large pane sashes in flush
frames, segmental arches; 2 doorways both with mid C20 doors; gable end stacks.
Interior with exposed timberwork: left hand cottage has arched doorway to
service end of original house and a beam to the ground floor ceiling with
crenellated decoration; right hand cottage with original crown post roof, the
crown post of rebated section.
