4/49 Valley Farmhouse -
GV II
Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. Early C17. Probably timber framed core, red brick casing, painted brick facade; pantiled roof. Single storey and attic. 2 window range, 3-light small pane casements, segmental arches; the centre window is a mid C20 insertion in a former doorway; boarded door to left hand side; 2 C19 flat-roofed dormers and one earlier dormer with leaded windows. Parapet gables, one internal stack. Single storey lean-to extension to right hand side with boarded door; 2 storey gabled brick extension to rear. Adjoining to the east is a former barn, converted into living accommodation early C20 and now integral with the farmhouse.
