Former manor house. C16 with later additions. Main part of house with L shape
plan, probably originally 2 associated dwellings which were later linked
together with a single storey block. Timber framed and plastered, brick gable
end to south wing; plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. North wing with 3
window range, sashes with glazing bars in flush frames to ground floor, 3-light
casements with square leaded panes to first floor; doorway with half-glazed
door, rectangular fanlight and simple wooden hood. South wing with various
casement windows, mostly with leaded panes; external stack with 2 octagonal
flues with moulded bases. Attached to the north wing is a further wing with
one C17 gabled dormer with pierced drop finials and carved lintel.
