GV II
Former school, now village hall. Dated 1842 on east gable. Small flint pebbles, pale yellow rusticated brick dressings, slated roof. Single storey. Symmetrical facade with projecting gabled entrance and 3 large pane casement windows to either side; semi-circular headed doorway with splayed brick reveals and moulded brick capitals; door with 6 recessed vertical panels reinforced with ironwork: this was originally a gate with the panels open; above the door is cast iron cresting and a modern rectangular fanlight; tympanic filling to arch with the inscription 'Jubilee Clock V:R Erected 1887'; above the arch is the clock referred to in the inscription. The gable ends each have a pair of tall semi-circular headed casement windows with a blank panel between.
