The studding is of good quality, with a middle rail, and arched braces, some of ogee form, at the corners. In the left bay of the main range there has been considerable C20 replacement of timbers. An internal chimney-stack with saw-tooth shafts, set in the angle of the 2 ranges, and a secondary stack set externally against the front wall of the right-hand bay. Various windows: small-paned casements, some with transome; one Edwardian oriel to the upper storey; small-paned sash windows with flush frames to gable ends. Edwardian ornately-panelled door. Heavy, plain ceilings exposed throughout the ground storey; joists set flat and unchamfered except for the 2-bay room in the rear range, where both main beams and joists have a chamfer. Main posts and wall-plates visible on the upper storey, but no studding. Roof not examined. The 2 ranges are contemporary, although the layout of the front has been altered.
