House, previously divided into 2 cottages. Late C17. One storey and attics: 3-cell plan. Timber-framed, faced in early C19 roughcast with a very coarse texture; thatched roof; an internal chimney-stack with a plain red brick shaft. The exterior is in early C19 Gothick style: 3 3-light windows with moulded hoodmoulds and casements with pintle hinges: on the left blocked, in the centre with old diamond-leaded panes, on the right with small panes. One large gabled dormer with a C20 2-light casement window with diamond leading incorporating some old quarries. Barge-boards with drop tracery to gables and dormer. 2 plank doors, one blocked. The north gable has a recessed semi- circular panel with windows set into it: 3-light, with pointed heads to lights and hoodmould over, to ground storey (now blocked) and a similar 2-light window above with small panes to casements. A few very plain timbers exposed inside, and evidence for a possible extension of the frame on the line of the chimney stack.
