House, C15, formerly with open hall, greatly altered and extended late C16.
Central hall range with service wing to right (front section rebuilt late C16),
late C16 jettied parlour wing to left. 2 storeys, both wings having attics.
Timber-framed, rendered, with plain clay tiled roof. Various C19 and C20
casements and sash windows, mullioned late C16 window, others visible
internally. Cross-passage entry with early C19 6-panel entrance door having
flat canopy above. Wind-braced clasped-purlin roofs. Hall floored over, re-
roofed, and stack inserted backing onto cross-passage late C16. C16 parlour
with good framing; end chimney enclosed by rear C18 stairs in wing. Rear
cross-passage porch an early addition.
