The Garden House, Gt. Saxham Hall.

Stucco folly, late C18 in the grounds of Gt. Saxham Hall; said to have been a
Temple of Dido, and probably by Capability Brown who supervised landscaping on
the estate. In the Strawberry Hill Gothic style, formerly with a domed roof
now gone. Slender clustered columns with ogee crocketed arches supporting a
parapet pierced with simple arcading and surmounted by a pyramid at each of the
8 corners. The structure is in poor condition.
