House, formerly containing a shop. Mid C19 front of colour-washed brick to early C16 timber-framed and jettied core. 2 storeys: basic 2-cell plan with chimney-stack on rear wall: jetty underbuilt in brick in early C17: roof raised and slated in mid C19. 2 square bay windows supported on metal bars, with c.1960 door between. C20 2-light casements to upper floor. Extensions at rear. A small patriarchal cross is cut into the brickwork to the right of the door. Joseph Warren (1792-1876), watch and clock maker, and a local antiquarian of some note, lived here for many years.
