Terraced composition of 4 houses. c1914 by F E Williams. Red brick. Tiled roof with tall brick chimney stacks and each house with 2 dormers.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics. Outer bays with entrances having thin brick rustication blocks and gauged brick flat arches with keystones. Similar central entrance flanked by 2 round-arched entrances with balustered gates. 5-light ground floor windows with leaded diamond pane glazing, except No.15 which has late C20 glazing. 1st floor canted oriel Venetian windows with small leaded panes, narrow brick apron with base cornice and modillion cornice to the tops of the windows which continues across the front of the block. Between each window are panels of raised brick.
HISTORY: No.13 was the home of author A A Milne (Blue Plaque).
