1. CAVENDISH CAVENDISH 2006 High Street (north Side) Cavendish House [Formerly listed as premises immediately west of Rectory (The Yews)] TL 8046 17/14 19.12.61.

2. An early C19 white brick house with a quadrant courier on the south-west: 2 storeys. 3 window range on the south front, 1 window range on the quadrant courier and 2 window range on the west front, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals, site central part of the south front, of 1 window range, breaks forward slightly, with a 3-light window on the 1st storey and a stucco surround and cornice on console brackets to the ground storey window. The quadrant corner has a stucco parapet and, on the ground storey, a stucco Ionic portico with plain columns in antis. Roof slate, The front is protected by ornamental iron railings of an unusual curved pattern.

Church Cottages, Chinnerys and premises occupied by Chris Bolden & Co, George Hotel, Cosy Nook, Almore House, Corner Cottage, Mill occupied by A Kahn, Cavendish House, The Rectory, Premises occupied by W J Cutting, Spring View, Middle Cottage, Water View, Canford House and St Ronans form a group.
