SOLIHULL BRUETON AVENUE 1. 5108 5.12.49. Malvern Hall SP 1579 1/22 II* GV
2. Central block circa 1690 for Humphrey Greswold. Remodelled and wings added by Soane 1784. Centre reduced from 3 storeys to 2 and wings from 6 windows wide to 3 and 2, 1896. Cement rendered walls with stone dressings, late C19 stone roof balustrade screening hipped Welsh slated roof. Chamfered quoins. 7 sash windows with glazing bars. Segmental bowed Ionic portico circa 1811. Painted by Constable. Interior retains Soane's Hall and symmetrically planned staircase. Large modern wing on right. Garden front terrace and steps.
Malvern Hall, and Forecourt Gatepiers at Malvern Hall form a group.
