Road signpost. Circa early C20. Cast-iron. Slender tapered and fluted post in the form of a Doric column, with a finial and three arms with ogee-pointed ends inscribed in upper case letters with serifs:- To Ringwood, To Fordingbridge, To Furze Hill and To Cuckoo Hill; the last two directions inscribed on one arm.
This is a good example of a county council signpost of an unusual design.
