Gables Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Late C16; C19 and mid C20 additions to north. Timber framed,
largely plastered, some colourwashed brick. Pantiled roof. 2 storeys and
attic. 3 cell form. Various casement windows; to the north is a C19 4-panel
entrance door (the upper 2 panels glazed) with gabled hood. Internal stack.
Some of the frame is visible at first floor level, with evidence for diamond-
mullioned windows. Newel stairs. The roof has a single row of butt purlins.
