GV II
Cottage, formerly with a shop. C18 and C19. Timber-framed and rendered; thatched roof with decorated ridge to main range, clay pantiles to former shop. Part 1½ storeys, part one storey and attic. 2 eyebrow dormers with 2-light single-bar casement windows; an old 3-light single-bar casement window to the ground floor, and a small single-light window beside the plank door. Remains of pargetting in the apex of the right-hand gable. Shallow-pitched roof to former shop, a small external chimney-stack with a shaft in rat-trap bond, 2 gable end windows, and one 3-light 2-bar casement window on the front. Various lean-to additions along the rear. Basic 2-cell plan inside, extended
into the shop area later. Timbering rough and late in style, a C20 replacement ceiling in the centre room. Roof with clasped side, purlins and a ridge-piece.
