Former farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. In 2 parts: C16 hall range to south (Friary Cottage), early C17 parlour addition to north (Thatched Cottage). Timber framed and rendered, thatched roof. Projecting ends of wallplates of parlour addition are supported on original carved console brackets. 2 storeys, attic in parlour block. Hall range is jettied to west: exposed joist ends, 2 original supporting brackets. Various casement windows, some late C19, some mid C20. Old plank door to Friary Cottage, mid C20 door to Thatched Cottage. Internal stack at junction of the 2 sections, the heavy sawtooth shaft rebuilt 1980's. Interior not examined.
