2/112 Bridge carrying driveway - over the Black Bourn, 120m east of Little Haugh House
GV II
Bridge carrying entrance drive to Little Haugh Hall over a small river. C16 or early C17. Narrow red bricks, in English bond. Two chamfered round arches with central pier, the voussoirs renewed in C19/C20 on the north side. Parapet rising about one metre above humped causeway, and splayed outwards at approaches; half-round clay copings. Cutwaters and much of brickwork near water level renewed in C19/C20 gault brick.
