Details

DRINKSTONE HILL FARM LANE TL 96 SE 1/16 Granary, 20 metres south - west of Hill Farmhouse GV II Granary, late C18 or early C19. Timber-framed and weatherboarded, raised on 5 brick piers running front to back. Corrugated iron roof, once thatched. 3 bays of timber-framing, largely oak, including chamfered 1st floor beams, joists and heavy studs. Good clasped purlin roof of C17 form, perhaps reused. The left-hand bay retains grainbins. In poor condition at date of survey.
