8/67 No.3 - GV II
House, probably C17 or earlier and in two stages. 3-cell plan. One storey and attics. Timber-framed and plastered. Roof pantiled in a chequer pattern of red and glazed pantiles; formerly thatched. An axial chimney of red brick; the base is plastered and the shaft rebuilt in mid C20 red brick. 3 gabled plaintiled dormers of C18 or C19 with late C19 or C20 small paned casements (the central dormer is larger and has a mid C20 metal casement). Early C19 windows: to left is a small-pane shop window, at centre a small-pane sash and to right a splayed bay shop window with small panes. Late C20 entrance door with 6 fielded panels. The cell to left of the chimney is not aligned with the remaining building and is of a different date.
