House, C16 and C17. 2 storeys and attics. 3-cell cross-entry plan with additions. Timber-framed and plastered. Concrete plaintiled roof; an axial chimney with shaft rebuilt in C18 red brick. Various small-pane casements, some of C18 with iron casements. A flat-roofed early C19 splayed bay with shallow modillions beneath the eaves and small-pane sashes. Early C19 6- panelled door at cross-entry, the upper panels glazed; a small canopy on curved brackets. A second C19 entrance door into the parlour to left, with fluted pilasters and cornice. At the centre is a 2-bay hall cell of mid C16; close-studding and an arch-braced tie beam in the chamber. A parlour block was added c.1600: an ovolo moulded bridging beam, and two back-to-back open fireplaces; in the parlour with a restored moulded plastered arch, and in the hall with cambered lintel. At the service end is an extension to right and to rear, both probably of C17. C17 side purlin roof with principal rafters.
