3/163 Oak Farmhouse - -- II
Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17, probably in more than one phase. C19 wing to rear (west). Timber framed and plastered, with small remains of old plaster panels. Pantiled roof. C19 addition is rendered with roof of double Roman tiles. 2 storeys and attic. 3-cell, lobby entry type. 4 windows, various casements, mainly of C19 date. Canted ground floor bay to right of doorway. Late C18/early C19 doorway with architrave, convex frieze and cornice. C20 door. Internal stack with plain shaft, placed almost centrally. Interior much altered from C18 onwards. To south of stack a single large ground floor room has been formed. Some plain first floor studding. C18 straight stair. Roof structure not examined.
