House. C15. Timber framed and plastered with a pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. Old casement windows; mid C20 entrance door. Internal stack with original plain rectangular shaft. A former open hall house with storied service end to the left. Modernised interior with some of the structure exposed. Smoke-blackened queen-post roof over hall with a row of purlins below the arcade plate; the original hipped end is still visible inside the roofspace. The roof over the service cell has been altered to form an attic but the medieval hipped end has been retained. Stack inserted at lower end of hall. Inserted ceiling with plain joists.
