House. Late C16. Timber framed and plastered with a thatched roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3-cell form. Various casement windows, mostly of C18-C19 date. C20 thatched porch with boarded door. Small pantiled rear wing, now altered, probably C17. Internal stack with C20 common brick shaft. Modernised interior. Exposed framing with cranked corner bracing. In the service cell an original window with diamond mullions; evidence for others at first floor level. Plain ground floor joists. Roof has a single row of clasped purlins and arched wind-bracing. A portion of the stack exposed comprises under-fired or unfired brick. In the parlour an C18 fireplace with bolection moulding.
