Former mill house; C18 core with major late C19 alterations. Timber-framed
and encased in late C19 gault brick at front (plastered at rear). Concrete
tiled roof, formerly thatched; an axial C18 chimney of red brick, the shaft
rebuilt in C19 gault brick. 3 C19/C20 flat-headed casement dormers. One
storey and attics. Small-pane C19 sashes with splayed reveals and cambered
heads. Two matching C19 entrance doorways also with cambered heads; that to
left has a 4-panelled half-glazed door, that to right has a boarded door.
Each has a gabled porch on iron columns. Some framing exposed internally: a
number of heavy principal members are of C15 or C16 origin but reused.
