Terrace of 3 cottages. Probably C17, with possible earlier core. The Nest and Rose Cottage comprise the original structure, of 3-cell cross passage entrance plan. One storey and attics. Timber-framed and roughcast. Pantiled roof probably once thatched, with axial C17/C18 chimney of red brick, C19 raking casement dormers. Mainly C19 small-pane casements and boarded entrance doors. The Cottage is a 2-storey C19 addition.
