2. Small C17 timber-framed cottage with white painted infill panels. Thatched roof with gabled ends. One-storey and attic one window range. Four-light casement and right hand plank door with modern gabled wooden porch. Large external sandstone chimney stack at right-hand (west) end, the stone is said to have come from the ruins of Charlton Castle.
