HALL STREET 1. 5377 (West Side) Long Melford Perryville, Aurora House and Shop (formerly listed as House and shop adjoining on North of Cock and Bell Hotel) TL 8645 21/508 10.1.53. II GV

2. A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a cross wing at the south end and a C19 gault brick extension at the north end. The cross wing is faced in roughcast and has late C19 fenestration, double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars. The 1st storey window is 3-light. The main block has modern casements with glazing bars and 1 double-hung sash window of 3-lights on the ground storey. There is a C19 double-fronted shop window and the C19 addition at the north end also has a C19 small shop front. Roofs tiled, with an original chimney stack to the main block with 4 grouped octagonal shafts (1 rebuilt).
