Originally a medieval timber-framed house with a C16 extension on the
south end and a C18 extension on the north end. The whole was refronted
in gault brick in the early-mid C19. 2 storeys. 7 window range (arranged
1:6), double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals, with stucco
lintels on stub brackets and stucco sills. Two 6-panelled doors with
semi-circular fanlights and panelled reveals have doorcases with fluted
half columns and open pediments. Roof slate, hipped at the north and
south ends. At the south end there is a rectangular stack rebuilt on
the base of an old chimney stack. The interior has a room on the ground
storey with fine carved ceiling beams.
