Terrace of cottages. Mid C19 encasing C16 timber framed range. Painted brick, slate roofs. 2 storeys. 6 window range of sashes in plain reveals. Anglia Cottage has C20 bow window to ground floor. Varied C19, C20 doors. Saffron Cottage formerly jettied. Blocked diamond mullion window to right hand return. 5 light window with replaced diamond mullions to first floor rear. Horizontal laid beams and joists. Probably original plank stair. Probable remains of brick cellar. First floor right hand return, early C17 wall painting. Arcade of 5 pilasters with angular capitals, and beneath each arch a pedentive drop and circle. In green paint outlined and picked out in black. Comparable with decoration at Pepys' House, Huntingdon. Interior of Anglia Cottage and Nos 2-3 Anglia Cottages not inspected.
