HIGH STREET 1. 5407 (North Side) Nos 117 to 120 (consec) including outhouse behind No 120 SU 1869 1/34 II GV 2. C18. 3 storey and basement. Brick with plain parapet top and moulded stone coping. Old tile roof. Formerly symmetrical terrace of 3 houses. 2nd floor windows. 2-3-2. 1s+ floor windows - 2 (altered Cl9) - 2 C19 angular bay windows with balcony between, and tiled pent roof across both 2 C18 windows. On ground floor in sequence from left hand - yard entry - 6-panel door with 3-pane rectangular fanlight - 3-light window - plain Cl9 shop front - 3-light window - 6-panel door - plain C19 shop front - and arched passage entry at right hand corner. 4 basement windows. Plain slate pent roof across front, plaster soffit, on Cl9 cut bracket supports. Outhouse behind No 120. Probably C18. Chequer brick ground floor. lst floor part tile-hung, part weatherboard. Pitched old tile roof. 2 storeys. 1 planked door, and 1 casement with glazing bars on ground floor. 1 lattice-paned casement, and 1 casement with glazing bars on lst floor. 1 Yorkshire casement with glazing bars in end elevation. Nos 112 to 116 (consec), Potters End, The Castle & Ball Hotel and Nos 117 to 124 (consec) form a group.
