2. C18 a possibly earlier house rehandled and enlarged in mid C19. 2 storeys painted brick with timber frame applied to west end on High Street. Double gable end and mansard roofs, partly of old tiles. 3 windows 1st floor, 2 on ground floor, sash, glazing bars, moulded flush wood architraves. Victorian gabled timber frame porch with herringbone brick nogging. Tudor arched door. East front to garden with 2 gables with bargeboards. Sash windows as on High Street front in gables. 1st floor segment headed casement window in centre. To north: 1st floor bay window of 3 lights, glazing bars, plain strips, frieze and cornice. Below on ground floor large 5 light bay window with glazing bars plain strips, shallow cornice, tiled hood with bargeboards, brick base. To south: rectangular brick bay with recessed sash window with glazing bars, block sill. French window in centre of ground floor.
