Details
COLESHILL HIGH STREET SP2088-2188 (East side) 11/29 No.141 (Public Library) 11/11/52 GV II House, now library. Circa 1800. Roughcast brick; plain-tile roof; brick integral end stacks. 3 storeys, reduced proportions to second floor; plain coped parapet with parapet band. 5 bays: glazing bar sashes with larger central lights; first and second floor windows have sill bands. Central part-glazed door with rectangular overlight containing patterned glazing bars, and a Roman Doric porch with fluted columns, triglyphs and moulded cornice hood. Interior: the front door opens to an entrance hall which gives access to the other ground floor rooms. These rooms have marble fireplaces of circa 1800.
