HEREVALE MEREVALE PARK Flight of steps approximately 10 metres southeast of southeast terrace at Merevale Hall

GV II Flight of steps. c.1850. Sandstone ashlar. Flight of four steps with half landing and a further flight of thirteen steps, with kerbs. At the top a pedestal to each side supports a white stone vase with handles on paired bearded heads and fluted foot, purchased from Drayton Manor, Staffordshire c.1926. Forms part of a formal layout designed by W.A. Nesfield c.1850. Included for group value.
