Shawberry Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. 1636, extended and partly rebuilt to the south east. Timber-framed and red brick infill. The extensions to the south-east are late C18/early C19 red brick. Flemish bond. Plain-tiled roof. Projecting side stack to north-east of coursed sandstone originally with dated stone. 1636 part of house of two bays. Two storeys and attic. South-east front has a C20 gable dormer and one C20 casement to each storey. Exposed small framing of height of four panels to each wall. Upward bracing from main posts to wall plate. Extended to south-east, late C18/early C19. Red brick. Plain-tiled roof. Doorway with half-glazed door, C20. Modern fenestration. Interior not inspected.
