Railway viaduct. c.1835. Brick faced with rusticated sandstone ashlar with
strongly projecting moulded string course, and coped parapet. 9 elliptical
arches and 6 narrower subsidiary round arches have rusticated voussoirs. Canted
piers between each arch. Larger piers between main and subsidiary arches and to
ends have octagonal caps. 2 subsidiary arches to west are bricked up and largely
hidden by the embankment. Built for the London and Birmingham Railway.
