ROWINGTON NEW ROAD SP16NE (North side) Lowsonford 3/100 Lock approx. 5m N of Lowsonford Bridge GV II Canal lock. Circa 1816 for the Stratford-on-Avon Canal. Brick, with some C20 brick patching. Single gates to each end of lock. History: the Stratford-on-Avon Canal was started in 1793 and opened in 1816. Included for group value. [ 97]
