LAPWORTH PACKWOOD LANE SP17SE (East side) Packwood 1/42 Stable block approx. 20m ENE 11/04/67 of Packwood House and outbuildings to NE (Formerly listed as Stable block on E side of Grove Road) GV II Barn, converted to stable block. Probably early C17, with C19 alterations; early C20 addition for Graham Baron Ash. C19 brick; old plain-tile roof. 3-bay range. 2 plank double carriage doors to segmental-headed openings to left and centre. Two 2-light casements with segmental brickheads to right. Glover to left of centre. Left return: red brick with flared headers in Flemish bond. Painted sundial panel to gable end of left return. Rear: large timber-framing with brick infill. Interior: Queen-post roof. Attached early C20 garages to right. [ 19]
