Circa mid C16 range of timber-framed cottages, the third bay from right added slightly later as its mid rail is not aligned with the mid rail in the other two bays. No 10 partly rebuilt in red brick in early C19. Red brick infill panels. On sandstone foundations. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. Two storeys, five window range. C19 two- and three-light casements with glazing bars. One plank door at front (to No 11). No 12 is probably Cl7, one storey and attic single bay timber-framed addition. It has one gabled dormer with three-light casement with glazing bars. Brick ridge chimney stacks, and brick stack over front wall. Interior: axial beams in central and western bays are chamfered with stepped stops (mid C16). Original fireplace in No 12. Clasped purlin type roof.
