1. 1781 NEW STREET (West Side) No 2 SP 2864 NW 1/530 II

2. Originally the Bank of Dames, Tomes & Russell (later Tomes, Russell & Tomes), established 1791. Ashlar house with modern wood cornice, machine tiled roof. 2 storeys, slightly projecting centre, 3 windows, left hand ground floor window set in countersunk panel. Wooden door frame with reeded jambs, flat cornice brackets under blocked segmental fanlight. C19 shop front on right. VCH, viii, p.509. One building with No 15, Old Square.
